Tristan's Snow Day

So far this year we have only had a small amount of snow...but I have found that no amount of snow is too small for boys! Tristan and Seth couldn't wait to get outside and run around! They loved throwing snow at each other and trying to scare me by walking on the ice...BOYS WILL BE BOYS! Tristan wasn't sure at first but he soon found out how much fun snow is!
Trowing snowballs at each other!
Later on that night I made red velvet cupcakes with cream cheese icing and I let the boys decorate their own. They had a blast!

Choo Choo Tristan Turned 2!

Tristan is in love with Trains so this year he had a Thomas the Train birthday party. He got some great gifts (even some big boy underwear!) He loved his choo choo cake!
Tristan and his cousin Seth are best friends and share everything!
Tristan loved opening his presents. This one was big so he decided to lay on it and open it that way! he eventually got it and it was a tent with a tunnel!
Blowing out his candles!
We want to thank everyone who made Tristan's birthday extra special this year! We are so blessed to have a wonderful family!

A special visit for a special boy on his birthday!

Some very special friends came to visit Tristan on his birthday..mommy's friends (Amber and April)...and his besties Ema and Alec! They drove all the way from Arkansas to spend time with Tristan on his birthday! Family photo of us on Tristan's birthday!
MMM Tristan loves Ted's Restaurant! Can't you tell by all the cheese on his face! Well, he loved it until they stuck the sombrero on his head and tried to sing happy birthday to him :)
Tristan driving Ema around in his truck! My son pulled a couple of hit and runs this day and Ema wanted out LOL.
It was so wonderful that April and Amber were able to come up, even if it was just for the day! I had so much fun and it made me realize how much I miss my Arkansas friends!

Tristan had a cake on his birthday at 9:20pm..he was on a sugar high until midnight :)

Now you can see why I love this little boy so much :)

Bentley's NEW Bed!

Bentley our Great Dane has needed a soft new bed for a while and the fact that she has started using out couch as her bed made me get in the creative mode. I didn't want to spend a ton of money on as much fabric I was going to need to make one for her size of a dog so I used an old top sheet from our bed. I first cut it to the size I wanted and then I sewed around the edges, leaving enough of a little pocket to stuff it(I had tons of stuffing left over from an old project)..Then I had Tristan and Seth stuff it (they loved helping out) and then I sewed up the pocket area and waaalaaa we have a dog bed! So if you count the stuffing it probably cost me $3 to make!
The boys loved helping out!
The bed.
Yep, Bentley loves her new bed!

I love this!!!

Umm I can't even begin to tell you how amazing this stuff is! It's truely a miracle for snacks on the go! First of all, there is NO mess and it's 100% fruit! You just simply twist the cap off of it and let the kid suck out the apple sauce..BTW it's not super sour either! It works great with Tristan when we are out somewhere and he start hollering he's hungry and there isn't the mess you get with crackers or something like that. I found it on one of those shelves whe you are checking out at Walmart...you know the ones lol...they are there to tempt you to buy more stuff and very tempting for kids to touch EVERYTHING! Probably the best buy I have made so far this season!

The Many Faces of Tristan

The I Am gonna drive this thing over you mom if you don't move look... The suprised and laughing look..probably my favorite!
The I am telling on myself look and saying "ooohhhh"

Birthday-Countdowns

Just Some Randoms

Tristan loves his dogs and they love him! This picture is of Tristan, Pebbles and Bentley all snuggled on the couch! Talk about relaxed and comfortable...
This year Timmy and I decided not to go all out on Christmas for each other so I got him these adorable car family window stickers...Him and Tristan are OU and of course I am Arkansas! Woo Pig Sooie! Oh and we got ourselves ONE big gift! A new zoom lens for our camera! It will be great for taking pictures outside!

Just another shot of the window stickers :)

Christmas Day

Late Christmas Eve, my mom and Jonnie came up and surprised Tristan on Christmas morning. They brought him lots of goodies...in fact, by the time we Christmas morning came around Tristan had lost interest in opening presents! HaHa spoiled baby!

This year Santa brought Tristan a Ford Truck Power wheels..He loves them whenever we go to a store that has them but he had never seen one actually move! So he was scared of it...it took a few days and now we can't keep him off of it when we go outside!
I bought Tristan train Christmas pajamas because I just had to have cute pajama pictures on Christmas morning...well, that didn't work to well because after about two pictures he peed out of his diaper so we had to remove his pants :( Oh well it makes a great memory!

For Christmas lunch my Grandma Jan and Aunt Sherrie and a few of my mom's friends came and joined us for Christmas dinner!

I love the holidays but I am sure glad they are over for this year...now I have to get ready for Tristan's birthday in just a few days :)

Christmas Eve Festivities

On Christmas Eve we celebrated at lunch time with Timmy's mom's family. This is a wild and crazy bunch when you get them all together! Not to mention they cook so much food you feel like you are going ot bust but that's what it's all about!
Timmy's mom (granny) with Shelle, Kayden, Alyssa and Tristan
Granny with Chas, Bryan, Dylan and Seth

Then on Christmas Eve we went to Grandma and Grandpa Hayes' and had more food :) This year because our family has grown so much we decided to play minute to win it instead of exchanging presents...it was so much fun!

Our side of the Hayes'...

The Fipps's side of the Hayes...

Larry and Dee's side of the Hayes'
Gary and Dayla's family left early so they didn't get their pictures but this family is so big that we all can't fit in one picture!

Timmy and I started a tradition to get a family orament every year and this is our 2010 ornament...I love reindeer!

After the BIG Hayes Christmas we went home and let Tristan open his presents from us.
He made a haul on trains!
After presents we read..."Twas the Night Before Christmas" and then it was of to sleepy land for Tristan so Santa would come.

It's an Arkansas Christmas

Wow, it seems that I have been slacking on my blogging...sorry folks, but you know how crazy Christmas season can be! We had a wonderful Christmas with family and friends. Being that mine and Timmy's parents are both divorced, we have to celebrate a ton of Christmases!
The weekend before Christmas we all loaded up and headed down to Arkansas....

First stop was with my dad's side of the family. I love how they all went together and bought Tristan ONE big gift! This year he got a swing set! Now we are just waiting on my dad to come down and set it up for him! Tristan made his Granny Evelyn a hand and foot print reindeer with his picture! I am pretty sure she loved it!

Next stop was Timmy's dad's house.
Tristan and his cousin Seth are best buddies...can't you tell?

This year I made Timmy's dad, Tristan and Seth all a pair of Thomas the Train pajama pants. It started out with just Tristan and Seth getting a pair but Big Tim had to leave a smarty pants comment on my facebook saying "he wishes he had a pair too!" So I made him some!

Tim(PaPa) and Janet(YaYa) with all of their grandkids.

Then our last stop was a quick trip by my mom's house so Ema and Tristan could exchange a little present!
